Zedd and Selena met accidentally on December 2014.
Zedd stated that he was going to the bathroom and he ran into her in the studio because their studios are right across the street from each other.
The next day, Selena Gomez posted a picture online with Zedd but she did not confirm they were working together.
When describing her featuring in the song, Zedd said they recorded her vocals and he loved it.
He did not even try anyone else on the song. Tedder also commented on the song and he said that Zedd and Selena crushed it.
The music video for the song was released on VEVO on March 10, 2015. It was directed by Brent Bonacorso and later edited by Anthony Chirco.
The song was nominated for the Choice Party Song and Choice Theme Song at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, and at the same awards, it won as the Favorite Dance Song of the year.
The video has more than 42 million views on YouTube and still counting with music critics giving a thumbs up for the dance scenes and also for the great combination of Zedd and Selena.
