The story of this film is co-written by David S.Goyer and Chris Terrio, this movie is also the first live-action cinematic portraying the Flash, Wonder Woman and Cyborg.
According to the director, the story is much inspired from the Batman Comic book series named The Dark Knight Returns by Fran Miller. They have added a cinematic reboot and created everything in an original premise. The incarnation of Batman is quite different from that of the book.
The story Begins
Directed under the supervision of Zack Snyder, the movie begins with a post-war scene. Eighteen months pass by after the deadly battle with General Zod and in between this, Superman emerges out as a controversial character.
Gotham City is operated by Billionaire Bruce Wayne as vigilante Batman since last two decades. Wayne assumes Superman as a potential threat to humanity.
On the other hand, Superman in public identity as Daily Planet journalist Clark Kent (played by Henry Cavill) sees Batman as a danger and wants to expose him.

Well, in the wake of the destruction of Metropolis, society started thinking that whether Superman should be praised as a hero or he should turn himself over to authorities. Batman takes the Man of Steel assuming Superman as a threat.
Lex Luthor, on the other hand, is plotting something dangerous that can destroy mankind,while mysterious wonder woman Diana Prince pursues her own plans.

Snyder cast old Batman to create a layered juxtaposition against new, young and dynamic Superman. This movie was premiered in Mexico City at the famous Auditorio Nacional on March 19, 2016.
Featured with stop debut, this movie has successfully created new box-office records. It was a bit shocking to see the historic drop in the collection that too in the second weekend.
Nevertheless, with a final worldwide gross approaching $870 million, the entire cast of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is quite overjoyed.
One can say that this version is most interesting of all Batman-Superman movies focusing much on the role of Superman in a world where almost every action is politically controlled.
This film is based on a very smooth and potentially powerful story. It was absolutely wonderful to see Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman sharing the big screen together.
