Unfortunately, Umbrella ordered the closure of Raccoon, to prevent the virus from escaping from the city. The only solution left for Alice and her teammates are to find the daughter of an important member of Umbrella.
She disappeared when she was to be extracted and made safe as soon as the Hive contamination became known. In exchange for this research, this important member will allow them to escape from Raccoon, Umbrella intends to exterminate the whole city.
