Herning also criticized Taylor Swift for not endorsing or showing support for any candidate in the 2016 election.
The song “Ready For It” is a pop-oriented song and it was written and recorded by Swift for her sixth studio album Reputation.
The song was meant to be a promotional single and it hit the radio on 24 October 2017, and it was the album’s second single.
The song has received positive reviews from music critics who said the song was an improvement on her previous single “Look What You Made Me Do.”
“Ready For It” has commercially reached the top ten in Australia, Hungary, Canada, Scotland, New Zealand, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and the US.
The song’s lyrics are about Taylor’s fantasies about an individual described as a killer who had multiple relationships and is younger than all her exes but acts like such a man.
The song’s video which is just audio on YouTube has more than 31 million views currently was released officially on October 26, 2017.
