DJ Khaled - I'm the One ft. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne
Will DJ Khaled ever go away? Not anytime soon. Once again DJ Khaled is back, this time with a track where he has brought big names in the music industry.
After a successful year in 2016, DJ Khaled has teamed up with Justin Bieber, cinch the rapper, Lil Wayne, and Quavo not to mention Kendrick Lamar to come up with the “I’m the One” Hit.
The idea of enlisting Bieber on the song is brilliant as Bieber handles the pre-chorus and the chorus duties so well.
The pre-chorus and chorus appear at the beginning of the track before DJ Khaled follows with an intro.
Following the Hook, Quavo comes next with the first verse and essentially asserts himself as the real deal on the song itself.
Bieber takes the chorus after which change the rapper arrives with the Secord verse flaunting his signature style.
Finally, Lil Wayne takes over and proceeds with the third verse, surprisingly, Lil Wayne is less sexual than usual in the song and arguably the tamest rapper compared to the other three.
This track is slightly different from other tracks released by DJ Khaled. As it features Justin Bieber, we expected it to be treated to musical genius but the outcome from different.
The single was released on April 28, 2017, and uploaded on DJ Khaled VEVO official site the same day. The rappers break the track nicely and Bieber taking off all the pre-chorus and the chorus.
The track is catchy. It already has more than 692,160,039 views on YouTube. The video starts with Khaled using a mixture of motivational words, then proceeds to show it up in a Californian Mansion with half-dressed models dancing around them.
“I’m the One” is an enjoyable record and DJ Khaled certainly knew how to assemble it, it is undoubtedly on it's way to giving DJ Khaled another platinum single.
