But many Elle Goulding's fans still believe it was Ed Sheeran's revenge on Elle Goulding by shaming her infront of the whole with his songs "Don't" and "Thinking Out Loud" and making it worse by naming her and Niall Horan in the interview with The Sun.
By some strange coincidence both Ed Sheeran and Elle Goulding had an amazing 2014, with Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" selling close to 7 million copies around the globe, making Ellie Goulding's affair with Niall Horan while dating Ed Sheeran a feast for British tabloids.
"Thinking Out Loud" is another song that Ed Sheeran wrote with Goulding on mind and the video deals with Goulding's night life, even though Sheeran never shed much light on "Thinking Out Loud" music video apart from confessing to the fact that the video is indeed based on the lifestyle of his last girl friend.
"Thinking Out Loud" would eventually become Ed Sheeran's biggest hit to date with more than 9 million copies sold around the globe.
