The torch song’s theme is confidence, of being confident in one’s own skin. Selena created a stir by posting a steamy picture of herself in the shower, as an announcement to this song.

The Revival album is Selena’s rite of passage – a process of self-realization to emotional maturity, confidence, empowerment and of embracing one’s strength and vulnerability.

The music video for this single, directed by Sophie Muller (Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie”, Coldplay’s “Fix You, Annie Lenox’s “Why”) was received very well, it is sexy and refreshingly simple.
For the video, a stripped-down version of the song was used. This version doesn’t have A$AP Rocky’s verses and is slower in tempo than the single-version.
A second edit of the music video was dropped that features A$AP Rocky who was missing in the original video.
This second video retains Gomez’s scenes from the first,with the addition of A$AP Rocky’s verses that are filled with braggadocio, profanity and sexual innuendos.
There are three official remixes for this track. The lead remix is by up-and-coming Parisian Nebbra, while the other two are from the Netherlands' Yellow Claw & Cesqeaux and Sweden's Kasbo.

It was written by Selena, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Nick Monson, Hector Delgado, Rakim .A. Mayers, and Nolan Lambroza.
