This he said is because of his difficult relationship with Birdman who he said had refused to pay him some dues that went up to 51 million dollars.

The rapper went on to say in an interview that he would not work with Birdman again and the only thing he wants from Birdman is his cash, and he is out.

“Go D.J” is Lil Wayne’s first solo hit to reach the top three in the U.S rap charts and also becoming a top 20 single.

The lyrics to the song are written and performed by Lil Wayne and the song’s great beats were produced by DJ Mannie Fresh who has also provided some vocals in the song.

The single was Lil Wayne’s most successful song until “Lollipop” which peaked at number one in 2008. The song’s chorus is copied from an earlier song of the same title by U.N.L.V a New Orleans rap group.

The song video which has more than 64 million views on YouTube is set in a prison, where the artist is set free from an electric chair after which he starts rapping.
