On December 21, 2009, Pet Shop Boys performed the track live at the O2 Arena London during their Pandemonium Tour that began in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The two talented artists have journeyed their career through turbulence and came out winners having defied record labels’ expectations and promoting their image in a totally different manner.

With several Grammy awards in their career, the two have been rumored to be a couple but neither of them has confirmed the rumors.

Though most of their lyrics appear to be gay oriented, Neil has stated that they have used a gender-neutral language in most of their songs.

Nevertheless, the duo has worked hard to keep a good public image but that hasn’t stopped wolves from attacking them.

They sued an author for claiming they did not sing their own song and Neil Tennant was recently mugged in Rio de Janeiro near Leme Beach.

Pet Shop Boys – Did You See Me Coming? - Lyrics

 Release Date - June 1st, 2009

 Album - Yes

 Did you see me coming?

 Was I that obvious?

 For all of a sudden

there were just two of us

 You don't have to be

 in "Who's Who"

 to know what's what

 You don't have to be

 a high-flyer

 to catch your slot

 The night we met

 was cold and wet

I needed a drink or two

 I saw you standing there

 and I knew

 I'd love

 to be loved by you

 Did you see me coming?

 Was I that obvious?

 For all of a sudden

there were just two of us

You don't have to be what's what

 to know who's who

 You don't need the DNA

 to find the proof

 Then and there

 my life made sense

 You were the evidence

 Did you see me coming?

 Was I that obvious?

 For all of a sudden

there were just two of us

 Did you see me coming?

I thought I'd have to make

 all of the running

I was all yours to take

 I'm not superstitious

 or really religious

 Just "to thyself be true"

But now I think I'm starting

 to believe in fate

 because it delivered you

 Did you see me coming?

 Was I that obvious?

 For all of a sudden

there were just two of us

 Did you see me coming?

I thought I'd have to make

 all of the running

I was all yours to take
