Bryan Adams - Best of Me (#ad)
This Canadian singer is more popular for his charity concerts and not on-stage antics associated with some of Canada's finest musicians.Best of Me, released by Bryan Adams, is a sort of greatest hits collection of his 90s songs.
Bryan Adams owned the 90s, with heavy air play on video music networks along with infinite number of radio on demand requests, his popularity reached dizzy heights in the mid 90s.
What he is now, is just a shadow of a man once he was.It all started with OST for the 1993 Hollywood movie, The Three Musketeers, the song titled "All For Love" that he sang along with Sting and Rod Stewart, became a no.1 hit in every major charting country.
And won his only Grammy award to date, although Bryan was never much excited about it, many of his fans feel he should have won more, especially in the 'rock music' category.
After spending close to a month at the top of the Billboard U.S charts, the song sold more than 1.3 million copies, eventually becoming more popular than the movie itself.
But this was not the biggest movie hit sound track that Bryan Adams has created, his biggest OST would be "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", the 1991 Hollywood blockbuster Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
It scored a perfect 10, at the no.1 position in the 10 well known charting countries around the world including U.S, U.K, Canada,Sweden,Australia and New Zealand.
Selling a whooping 16 million copies around the globe and spending a record 9 weeks at the top of Canadian charts.
This power ballad, "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" is by far the most commercially successful single of Bryan Adams.
It was followed by "Can't Stop This Thing We Started",an uptempo techno rock number with a perfect guitar solo.
Best of Me, show cases a wide range of 90s hits from this husky Canadian singer, including "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman " , "Cloud Number Nine" , "Please Forgive Me" and "The Best Of Me".
Then there are the 80s classics "Summer Of 69", "Back To You" and "Run To You".
Bryan Adams has became a professional photographer after the millennium and since been concentrating more on his photography, than his music.
Perhaps one of the reasons he faded away from the music scene in the 2000s after reaching the summit of fame in 80s and 90s.
