Setting Fires - The Chainsmokers feat. XYLØ(#ad)
The Chainsmokers broke into mainstream popularity with their viral hit single "#Selfie (song)" in 2014.
2016 was the breakout year for the DJ/producer duo of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall – as "Don’t Let Me Down" featuring Daya and "Closer" featuring Halsey (Taggart as co-vocalist) were both certified Platinum and huge chart-toppers in almost every country across the globe.
Both songs headline their 5-track EP Collage. Both the songs were also nominated for the Grammys (2016), with a 3rd nomination for the duo for Best New Artist. They won the Grammy for Best Dance Recording for "Don’t Let Me Down".
"Setting Fires" is The Chainsmokers’ fifth single from Collage. The duo has collaborated with American indie-pop brother-sister duo of XYLØ for this track.
Paige & Chase Duddy of XYLØ also found themselves thrust into the spotlight with their debut single "America" in early 2015.
The single became an internet success after it was uploaded onto YouTube through music promoter Mr.SuicideSheep.
Released on the 4th of November 2016, "Setting Fires" hit 1 million views on YouTube in less than a month of it's release.
There’s been no turning back for the brother-sister team after this."Setting Fires" has a slow-burn moody beat, with Paige on the vocals.

The song peaked at #71 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #31 on Spotify, with over 27 milion streams on the streaming giant.
Whilst one may wonder why the song hasn’t moved up the charts, considering the multi-platinum "Closer" spent over 10 weeks at #1 on the charts and was 2016’s official biggest hit with more than 5 million copies sold.
One can argue perhaps there simply wasn’t room for another Chainsmokers single when "Setting Fires" was released!
The duo has already spent a record 49 weeks in the Billboard Top 10 and also now holds the record for non-solo act with the most weeks in a row inside the Top 10.

Album - Collage
Down to my last match fire I touch just to feel
Why is it easier to burn than it is to heal?
Out in the cold you've been
I begged you to come back in
But I can't do this again
I can't keep you from harm
But I'm set on fire to keep you warm
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
I can't keep you from harm
But I'm set on fire to keep you warm
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
I can't
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
I've been looking for answers I don't want to hear
Chest to chest with you I'm staring into a mirror
Out in the cold you've been
I begged you to come back in
But I can't do this again
I can't keep you from harm
But I'm set on fire to keep you warm
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
I can't keep you from harm
But I'm set on fire to keep you warm
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
I can't
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
What would I do?
What I wouldn't do to save you
What would I do?
What I wouldn't do to save you
I can't keep you from harm
But I'm set on fire to keep you warm
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
I can't keep you from harm
But I'm set on fire to keep you warm
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
I can't
I can't
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
I can't
I can't
I can't go on and on
Setting fires to keep you warm
