Billie Eilish - Bad Guy (#ad)
A welcome change from her usual dark, creepy ,gloomy songs. "Bad Guy" is probably one of Billie Eilish's happier songs.
Released from her 2019 album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, "Bad Guy" does have some really odd lyrics for a 17 year old.
Well.. a 17 year old girl wanting to seduce her dad, is indeed quite outrageous for a singer, whose fan base is dominated by teen girls.
This song is strictly a no-no at family gatherings or any event that would be attended by a dad and his underage daughter, unless of course if both of them happen to be die hard Billie Eilish fans.
As usual Billie sings the song in her soft, whispering, murmuring tone, which is once again magnified by her ever growing critics' base, with some calling it, as the 'laziest vocal performance by a singer' in the modern history of music.
Irrespective of what the critics think, the song was a huge hit among the listeners and had the honor of dethroning "Old Town Road" from the top of the Hot 100 charts after 19 long weeks.
The album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? has many other hit songs, including "Bury a Friend" , "When the Party's Over" and "Wish You were Gay".
She also did a remix of the song with her heart throb Justin Bieber, where Justin sings the lines of the bad guy or the dirty old man.
The music video of "Bad Guy" is as colorful as Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know", except for the final part, where it all gets dark and gloomy, with Billie sitting on top of a guy and singing , who is doing push ups, in a not so pleasant manner
One has to assume that the dude is Billie's boy friend and he is doing push ups as a punishment (with Billie on the top), because he cheated on her.
