The song became the 14th best-selling of 2000 in the UK and it won several awards including, Best Male Video and MTV Video Music Awards for Best video as well as a Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance.

In 2011, the song was placed at number 80 on NME’s list of 150 best tracks of the past 15 years.

The song video has more than 262 million views on YouTube, and it is one of the few songs of that time to reach that level.
