“Feel It Still” is a song by an American band Portugal The Man. This is a rock band from Portland, Oregon, and the group consists of Kyle O’Quin, John Gourley, Jason Sechrist, Zack Carothers and Eric Howk.
The band initially began when Gourley and Carothers met and began playing music together at Wasilla High School in Alaska.
They did their first two albums and were released on Fearless Records. The band later on signed to Atlantic Records on April 2, 2010.
The song “Feel It Still” is one of the best songs the band has done for a long time.
The song was written by the band together with AsaTaccone and John Hill who later served as the producers.
This is the first radio single and second single from their latest album Woodstock. It was their first song to enter the Hot 100 where it reached number four as of October 2017.
The song reached number one on Russian and Mexican airplay charts and on the US Alternative Songs.
It has been featured in adverts for Vitamin Water, Apple iPad Pro, and YouTube TV and also in the trailer for the film Peter Rabbit 2018.
It was everyone’s surprise including the band to find themselves alongside artists like Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift in the pop charts stamping the fact that this is a massive hit.
According to the band, they were not trying to get on the charts, and they say if you are trying to get on those charts, it will never happen.
The music video for the song which was released on 6 March 2017 currently has more than 53 million views on YouTube, and it is still young considering the breakthrough this song is getting.
As of now, the song has hit number one on Billboard’s Pop Songs and Dance/ Mix Show Airplay charts.
