The Story Begins
Monsters, Inc. revolves around two monsters who are employed at the Titular Monsters, Inc, Sulley Sullivan (John Goodman) the top Scarer and his one eyed partner in crime Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal).
Monsters, Inc. employees, generate the power of their city by scaring their targeted audience of children, but these monsters are themselves scared that those children may someday contaminate them.
One such unafraid little human named Boo (Marry Gibbs) follows them into Monstropolis, as a result they are exiled to Boo’s universe.
Movie Plot
Since the city of Monstropolis (inhabited by monsters) generate electricity through the screams of human children.They have no option but to scare children and harvest electricity by making them scream.
One day, Sulley discovers that one of the monsters named Randall accidentally left the door open which allowed a small girl named Boo to enter the factory.
They desperately try to put her back, but are unable to do so. Sulley then decides to take the little one home where he finds his best friend Mike. Chaos ensues once Mike and his girlfriend Celia discover the child.
Throughout the movie the duo try to protect Boo from other monsters, with the intention of safely sending her back from where she came from.
After they successfully send Boo back, Sulley is named as the new CEO, he changes their marketing strategy to make children laugh rather than 'scare & scream' as laughter is more powerful than screams.
Verdict
Monsters, Inc is a 'once in a lifetime' family entertainer with loads of humor that teaches good ethics to both the young and the old.
No wonder this movie was so successful at the box office, as there is not even one single dull moment throughout the entire course of this movie.
